"Nothing Is More Practical"

This quote is silly-tacked to my yellow bedroom wall at home. I remembered it some nights ago. I think there's some truth to it . . .

“Nothing is more practical than finding God,
that is, than falling in a love in a
quite absolute, final way.
What you are in love with,
what seizes your imagination will affect everything.
It will decide what will get you out of bed in the mornings,
what you will do with your evenings,
how you spend your weekends,
what you read,
who you know,
what breaks your heart,
and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.
Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything.”

I know this was from a long time ago, but I love this refocusing thought! Definitely made me think today - I can see why it made "the wall".

Tim! I am never on this blog anymore, but I got an email that you commented . . . Good to hear from you, friend! YES, such a profound thought. Thank you for bringing it back to my mind.
